Biography

​

Born in Villahermosa, Tabasco on July 25, 1987. He is a visual artist specialized in photography, he has a degree in Photography from the Interamerican University of the Southeast in Merida, Yucatan and also a Master's Degree in Art Studies from Realia University Institute for Culture and Arts in Xalapa, Veracruz. He is also a professor of photography, advertising photography and visual arts at the Juarez Autonomous University of Tabasco and an instructor in various photography workshops at an advanced level, studio and lighting, scientific and commercial, and has participated as a jury in various photography competitions at a regional level.

In his beginnings with photography, he focused on advertising photography, dedicating himself to this area professionally for more than thirteen years; creating photographs for commercial and editorial campaigns for various brands and companies in Mexico. In 2018, he rethought his purpose and decided to dedicate himself fully to photography as an art based on an authorial, metaphorical and surrealist concept. His work has been shown in various solo and group exhibitions in different galleries and cultural centers in the state, in addition to being selected to participate in several annual state visual arts exhibitions.

Statement

​

His work is a look at his thoughts and imagination expressing situations that occurred in his life, narrating emotions or events in a figurative, metaphorical and symbolic way, creating images that allow him to express himself, achieving more significant personal growth, thus finding an emotional refuge in the art. .

Process

​

Each photograph is created from a concept captured through a sketch on paper, developing the idea in detail and planning the elements that will make up the photograph. This allows him to preview the image, manually organizing and creating the scene that he will ultimately record using his camera.
